Pituitary microadenomas: Surgical results and morphological findings

Abstract: The results of transsphenoidal microsurgery in treating 22 patients with pituitary microadenomas are reported. Histological and ultrastructural comparative studies were performed in attempting to obtain a more accurate morphological classification of pituitary microadenomas.
