Piperlongumine and its derivatives against cancer: A recent update and future prospective

Abstract: Piperlongumine, or piplartine (PL), is a bioactive alkaloid isolated from Piper longum L. and a potent phytoconstituent in Indian Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine with a lot of therapeutic benefits.
