Piezoelectric metamaterial with self-tuning resonant shunt circuits

Abstract: The bandgap generated in piezoelectric metamaterials with resonant shunt circuits unveils a great potential for vibration control. This paper presents a piezoelectric metamaterial with the capability of broadband vibration attenuation by adaptive bandgap tuning.
