Piezoelectric bimorph-driven ultrasound scanner for high frequency ultrasound imaging

Abstract: Ultrasound imaging commonly uses mechanical or electronic scanning methods. However, the mechanical scanning systems are bulky and susceptible to Electromagnetic Interference, while electronic scanning systems are complex and expensive.
