Abstract:The human memory-associated protein KIBRA regulates synaptic plasticity and trafficking of AMPA-type glutamate receptors, and is implicated in multiple neuropsychiatric and cognitive disorders. How KIBRA forms complexes with and regulates AMPA receptors remains unclear.
