Picard–Newton iterative algorithm to solve the potential flow equation for different turbomachinery flow regimes

Abstract: Computing the velocity field magnitude with prescribed velocities on the pressure and suction sides represents the most important step in the inverse design of transonic axial turbomachinery blade profiles.
