Phytoseiid mites (Acari: Mesostigmata) of Anjouan Island (Comoros Archipelago)

Abstract: Anjouan is one of the four main islands constituting Comoros Archipelago, with Mayotte, Mohéli and Grande Comore Islands. It is the second Island closer from Madagascar after Mayotte. So far, no species of the mite family Phytoseiidae (Acari: Mesostigmata) had been reported from this island. In this paper, 18 species are recorded from a survey conducted at the end of 2018 in Anjouan Island.
