Abstract:The present work deals with phytochemical and antiprotozane screening of Pergularia Tomentosa and Priploca Aphylla. Preliminary phytochemical screening was done and HPTLC studies were carried out. Aqueous extracts of the leaves was developed in the mobile phase of tolueneacetoneformic acid (4.5:4.5:1) using standard procedures and scanned under UV at 254 nm, 366 nm and visible light at 540 nm.
