Among the plant foods, rice bran has the highest percentage of total phosphorus (1.5%), while corn and soybean bran levels are 0.28% and 0.65%, respectively (NRC 1994), and it has a lower market price than many other brans thus, its use can lower the final cost of feeds (Moreira et al 2003).
