Physiological Basis of Yield Variations in Hybrid Grasses Due to Seasonality

Abstract: The study revealed significant differences between hybrids for NAR and CGR and they were higher in TNAU CN 2. NAR was the lowest in the first season yet RGR and CGR were the highest in the same season. Regarding RLGR and RSGR, TNAU CN 2 had registered higher values. RLGR was maximum in the first season and minimum in the second season. RSGR was found to be maximum during the third season.
