Physiologic effects of electroacupuncture combined with intramuscular administration of xylazine to provide analgesia in goats

Abstract: Electroacupuncture combined with xylazine, even at 0.1 mg/kg, provided analgesia without significantly affecting cardiorespiratory parameters or rectal temperature in goats.
