Physicochemical Characterization of Nedocromil Bivalent Metal Salt Hydrates. 1. Nedocromil Magnesium

Abstract: Nedocromil sodium is used in the treatment of reversible obstructive airways diseases, such as asthma. The physicochemical, mechanical, and biological characteristics of nedocromil sodium can be altered by its conversion to other salt forms.
