“…To determine the state and relative strength of the connection of the catalyst components with the carbon surface, a simple chemical method was used, based on the desorption of the catalyst components by various eluents and comparing the activity of the catalyst model sample with the activity of the control sample. 22,23 Table 2 summarizes the results of palladium and copper desorption from samples containing only palladium (No. 1) or copper (No.…”

“…Анализ литературных данных по физико-химическим свойствам твердой со-ставляющей сварочного аэрозоля (ТССА) [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] показал, что основное внимание исследователей сосредоточено на установлении его химического и фазового со-става, зависящего, как правило, от условий сварки и материалов.…”

“…As appears from literature, chemical and phase compositions of SCWAs depend on a nature of weld metals and electrodes, materials of electrode coatings, and welding conditions [ 2 12 ]. Our investigations show that magnetite and manganochromite contained in compositions of SCWAs formed in the process of steel welding by some electrodes manufactured in Ukraine exhibit stable catalytic behavior in the reaction of ozone decomposition for the wide range of ozone concentrations (1–100 mg/m 3 ) [ 13 , 14 ]. It can be expected that an increase in concentrations of catalytically active phases in SCWAs obtained as a result of removing impurity phases and phases inactive in the reaction of ozone decomposition would lead to a change in kinetic and stoichiometric parameters of the reaction.…”
