Physical water attributes of soil under pre-dwarf cashew tree cultivation in semiarid region

Abstract

ABSTRACT:The objective of this work was to verify physical attributes after implanting a cashew tree culture and early night in the semiarid region. The study is in the seventh year, the following physical attributes were determined: water retention curve, soil density, porosity, grain size and particle density. There was a difference between sand, silt and clay fractions in the temporal space. The results evidenced that the porosity remained in the average in three different depths after an installation of the precocious dwarf cashew.
