“…This was because the difference in light spectrum was produced by solar radiation, and that the accelerated weathering of MAPP was susceptible to degradation by radiation frequencies that were more abundant in solar radiation. The work of Fabiyi and McDonald [22] also reported on the effects of three weathering regimes -xenon-arc, UVA, and natural weathering -on the photodegradation of WPVC composites; they found that the carbonyl and polyene contents of weathered WPVC composites under xenon-arc and UVA weathering increased with increasing weathering time and then decreased after 1200 h, whereas those under natural weathering progressively increased throughout the natural weathering times used.
