Phylogenetic and biogeographical traits predict unrecognized hosts of zoonotic leishmaniasis

Abstract: The spatio-temporal distribution of leishmaniasis, a parasitic vector-borne zoonotic disease, is significantly impacted by land-use change and climate warming in the Americas.
