“…In an extensive photovoltaic system, partial shading often occurs because of the vast surface area and vigorous conditions of weather. It results in a massive power failure, thus threatening the solar generating system's protection, consistency, and power management. The characteristics curve of the PV system's Power-Voltage (P-V), Current-Voltage (I-V), and Power-Current (P-C) represent several peaks due to unequal shading [24]. These curves comprise one global maxima and numerous local minima points.…”

“…This simple and straightforward approach was tested against different existing techniques by the authors and their results highlight the superiority of the proposed technique. Lo Shu technique has been further endorsed by other authors in their work 33‐35 . A detailed discussion on Lo Shu technique has been presented in the following section (Section 2.3).…”

“…Recently, dynamic reconfiguration has emerged to be the effective solution for partially shaded PV arrays recently which is the modified version of the earlier proposed electrical array reconfiguration (EAR) [31]. The dynamic reconfiguration technique uses switching matrix circuits to disperse the shading and equalize the row currents of the TCT-connected array to reduce the module mismatch and increase the power generation [32]. Some of the recently proposed dynamic reconfigurations include the MMTES algorithm [33], two-step GA [34], fuzzy logic and recursive least squares [35], socio-inspired democratic political algorithm [36], optimal mileage [37], multi-agent negotiation [38], and many more.…”
