“…Following the structural characterization performed using different techniques (NMR, ITC, UV–Vis absorption and emission), Chl a /CD systems have been tested as photosensitizer. The experimental results have been shown that almost all Chl a /CD systems studied, excited by the absorption of visible light, relax through various photophysical pathways damaging some cellular components leading to cell death .
