Abstract:Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a minimally-invasive anti-tumor therapeutic modality, known for its selectivity and limited side-effects. PDT has three fundamental requirements: a nontoxic photosensitizer (PS), light of a specific wavelength, and molecular oxygen.
