Photosensitive Liposomes as Potential Targeted Therapeutic Agents

Abstract: This work describes the synthesis of a hexadecyl‐modified anthracene‐based photoacid generator for use as alight‐activated trigger, which will induce contents release from phospholipid1,2‐dioleoyl‐sn‐glycero‐3‐phosphoethanolamine (DOPE):lysoplasmenylcholine liposomes.
