“…It can be clearly seen that with the increase amount of the reducing agent NaBH 4 in the environment, the more BiOBr is reduced and the intensity of the corresponding diffraction peak is gradually weakened. The diffraction peaks appearing at 23.77°(101), 27.17°(012), 37.93°(104), 39.62°(110), 64.53°(122) are in accordance with the standard cards of the single crystal Bi(JCPDS 39–0256) . With the increase of NaBH 4 concentration, the reduced Bi increased, with the XRD patterns showing stronger peak intensity and sharper peak.…”

“…It indicates that BiOBr surface was successfully reduced Bi. The diffraction peaks appeared at 2θ=28.58°, 33.03°, 47.31°, and 56.03°, respectively, corresponding to the (103), (200), (220), and (303) crystal planes of the Bi 2 WO 6 standard card (JCPDS 26–1044) . It is indicated that Bi 2 WO 6 , BiOBr and Bi were successfully combined.…”

“…For pure BWO, the photocurrent intensity decreases with irradiation time, this experimental phenomenon is similar to previous research. 48,49 The reason may be due to the fact that photo-generated electrons in the inner layer of Bi 2 WO 6 need to overcome a long migration distance to reach the surface, and electrons can accumulate and recombine with holes during the irradiation time. 50 However, the photocurrent of BWO/BENT-30% kept constant with time and was higher than those of pure BWO and BWO/BENT-50%.…”

“…32 In addition, the intensity of the 724 cm À1 peak was ascribed to the vibration of O atoms, and the peaks at 798 and 824 cm À1 were assigned to the anti-symmetric and asymmetric vibration of the O-W-O groups, respectively. 33 The peak at 307 cm À1 could be attributed to the translation modes that involved the simultaneous motion of the Bi 3+ and WO 6 6À ions. The differences between the two samples were not signicant, however the peaks at 824 and 121 cm À1 in the spectrum of Bi 2 WO 6 blue shied.…”
