Abstract:Abstract.Ca 2+ and Dy 3+ co-doped ZnWO 4 system was synthesized successfully via high temperature solid-state reaction. The photoluminescent, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and photocatalytic properties of the phosphors had been studied systematically. , which could be ascribed to more electron-hole pairs generated and the combination of electrons and holes decreased in the co-doped phosphors. Thus, resulting in the increase of photocatalytic activity.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
