“…This ability was shown to be beneficial in terms of electron and energy transfer in comparison to conventional systems. 36 The high conductivity of IL-MEs was utilized by Dong et al 37 to obtain a conductive polymer in a [BMIM][PF 6 ]/Tween20/H 2 O microemulsion at a relatively lower cost, which was achieved by reduction of the IL content.…”

“…The amphiphilic surfactant can self-assemble in ILs to form different aggregates such as micelles, vesicles, or liquid crystals. , Indeed, special attention to surfactant organization in ILs could open new research directions toward micellar catalysis into IL media, solvation enhancement for apolar entities, and lyotropic properties experimentally as well as theoretically during the past decades . Up to now, various kinds of microemulsions containing IL have been prepared, including IL-in-oil and oil-in-IL microemulsions, IL-in-water and water-in-IL microemulsions, and IL-in-IL microemulsion. Recently, the creation of microemulsions with IL as the continuous phase and CO 2 as the dispersed phase has been reported first . The novel microemulsion including surfactant N -ethyl perfluorooctylsulfonamide and IL 1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidinium acetate has many advantages such as the tunable size of dispersed CO 2 droplet and designable features of ILs, which may be used in material synthesis, chemical reactions, and extraction.…”

“…The dependence of the absolute PL emission quenching of dyes on the GO concentration further confirmed this conclusion (PL intensities of dyes are strongly dependent on the GO concentration) [14]. The GO itself is semi-conductive and its work function (−4.7 eV) [17,18], is lower than the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) level of the dyes.…”

“…Moreover, the absorption spectra of the 1:1 mixture of PDI and GO are almost identical to the sum of the absorption spectra of isolated GO and isolated PDI with the same concentrations. All these results suggested that there was no interaction between GO and PDIs at ground state in DMF [14].…”
