Laser adalah sumber cahaya yang digunakan untuk berbagai jenis aplikasi medis. Laser Diode adalah salah satu jenis laser yang digunakan dalam aplikasi medis seperti Terapi Fotodinamik dan inaktivasi Fotodinamik. Terapi Fotodinamik adalah salah satu terapi non-invasif yang digunakan untuk berbagai macam terapi seperti terapi antimikroba, terapi peremajaan kulit, terapi anti-penuaan, dan lain-lain. Terapi ini menggunakan sumber cahaya dengan karakteristik panjang gelombang tertentu yang dalam beberapa kasus menggunakan molekul yang peka terhadap cahaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi laser dioda untuk instrumen terapi fotodinamik. Laser dioda dengan nilai panjang gelombang 660nm adalah Dioda Laser Merah yang memiliki keluaran daya 78,9 mW. Aplikasi ini menggunakan 1 cm jarak 1 cm dengan waktu pemaparan 30 detik. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa untuk Diode Laser (λ) 660nm menggunakan input 7,89x10-2 W daya menghasilkan daya keluaran 78,86 mW; memiliki operasional suhu 52,62o C dan berkas cahaya 4,3 mm2.

Due to the misuse of pathogen-infected food, human beings continue to face serious diseases and even deaths. Thus, researchers from all walks of life concern on prevention, detection, and resistance for pathogenic bacteria. It is necessary to develop and explore a fast, cost-effective, portable, and efficient detection technology for pathogens. Recently, electrochemical sensors have been widely used for food safety analysis, due to their increasingly high sensitivity and selectivity. In particular, researchers have made significant breakthroughs on signal enhancement strategies, quantitative methods, and miniaturization of the instrument, which can be used as a reference to food safety analysis. Moreover, a device integrating facile working procedures, miniaturization, and automation must be indispensable. In order to meet the needs of People's Daily life, household device and point-of-care (POC) testing need to be combined with electrochemical sensing technology. In this review, the state of the art in electrochemical sensing for recognition and rapid detection of foodborne pathogenic bacteria is summarized from perspectives of common foodborne pathogens, especially focusing on real-time monitoring, lab-on-a-chip, and photoelectrochemical (PEC) platform applied in food and medical treatment fields. Furthermore, the limitations and prospects of recognition elements, active nanomaterials, and optical materials, that are essential components in sensing systems on future research directions, were evaluated.

A laser is a light source that uses for any kinds of medical application. Diode Laser is one laser type using in the medical application such as Photodynamic Therapy and Photodynamic inactivation. Photodynamic Therapy is one of non-invasive therapy using for many therapies such as antimicrobial therapy, rejuvenating skin therapy, anti-aging skin therapy, etc. This therapy is using a light source with specific characteristics of wavelength in some case are using Light-sensitive molecules. This research aims to determine the potential of the diode laser for photodynamic therapy instrument. Diode Laser with wavelength value 660nm is Red Laser Diode that has main power output 79,4 mW. The application was using 1 cm clearance with the 30s of time exposure. The result showed that for Diode Laser (λ) 660nm using 7,8x10 -2 W input power produce 77,78 mW output power; has operational temperature 53.56 o C and light beam 4.2 mm 2 .
