“…With the continuous development of society, the problem of environmental pollution has become increasingly serious . Because water is essential to human survival, the use and protection of water resources is particularly important. , Frequently, wastewater containing organic compounds is difficult to remove completely by conventional physical methods and therefore needs to be facilitated by chemical technologies. In recent years, advanced oxidation technology has developed rapidly, and a variety of means have been developed such as sulfate oxidation, ozone oxidation, Fenton oxidation, ultrasonic treatment, γ radiation, electrochemical oxidation, and plasma-assisted processes . It is very noteworthy that the development of photocatalytic oxidative degradation technology, which uses clean solar energy as an energy source, has received a lot of attention from scientists. This process converts light energy into chemical energy through catalytic materials and acts on organic pollutants without producing other waste products.…”

“…18 However, the fast compounding of photogenerated electron− hole pairs, the weak absorption of visible light, and the structural defects resulting from incomplete polymerization blocked electron transport in the photocatalytic process, which has seriously affected its development. 4,19,20 As another member of the carbon family, carbon quantum dots exhibit excellent photoelectric performance with a size of less than 10 nm, a carbon core with a sp 2 hybrid structure, and a surface rich in oxygen-containing functional groups such as hydroxyl and carboxyl groups. 12,21 Nitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots are photosensitizers with photoluminescent properties that can act as semiconductors to generate electrons and holes.…”

“…[62,63] In addition, scientific papers have seldom reviewed NHMs in fuel cells and photocatalytic applications. [10,[64][65][66] Therefore, this paper aims to discuss nanohybrid-based membranes for dye reduction.…”
