Many other photocatalysts were obtained by immobilization of the photoactive transition metals on various mesoporous silica supports, and their activity was evaluated in oxidation of organic polutants from water as dyes, functionalized 8-hydroxyquinolinate, antibiotics [9,10,28,56].
