“…TiO 2 mediated photocatalytic degradation of pesticides has proven to be a promising method to purify the polluntants from the environment. Nano-TiO 2 are capable of degrading dimethoate has been reported [ 53 55 ]. However, the degradation pathway of dimethoate has only been reported in a slurry system with TiO 2 [ 56 ].…”

“…Although the LbL‐based thin films have been successfully applied to photocatalysis, little has been reported on LbL assembly of TiO 2 /graphene film catalyst for the enhancement of photoactivity so far. Moreover, few reported separation‐free film catalysts, , were all evaluated under magnetic agitating conditions by using a small magnetic pellet to the best of our knowledge while in practice, mechanical agitation with a large agitator is required for scaled‐up production. The movement of agitator across the reactor adds additional constraints on the arrangement of the film catalysts in the reactor.…”

“…The movement of agitator across the reactor adds additional constraints on the arrangement of the film catalysts in the reactor. In addition, the hindrance of film catalysts vertically fixed against the circulating flow may lead to problems such as poor agitation and waste of energy. Therefore, developing a new strategy to meet the above challenges is indispensable for realizing a continuous photocatalysis suitable for scaled‐up production.…”

“…Dimethoate (DM), one of the most popular organophosphorus insecticides, is frequently used against a wide range of insects in agriculture and for housefly control due to its high effectiveness (Priya et al, ; Ayed‐Boussema et al, ; Guo et al, ). The residue of DM and its analog have been found in soil, crops, water, and foods, including cow's milk (Amara et al, ; Soler et al, ; Feng et al, ).…”
