“…The length, pore diameter and wall thickness have marked differences when the TiO 2 nanotubes fabricated with techniques such as hydrothermal growth, template assisted growth, electrochemical anodization and electrospining etc. [8][9][10][11] When the nanotubes are formed by electrochemical anodization, different morphologies such as smooth walled tubes, rippled or bamboo shaped tubes, single and doubled walled tubes, coaxial tubes and tubes with 'brain' morphology have been reported [12][13][14] In the present case, the nanotubes with granular morphology have been observed as a result of solvothermal treatment.
