Abstract:Worldwide, many aquatic systems are under anthropogenic induced pressure by elevated nutrient inputs. In particular, increased nitrogen and phosphorus usage have led to human‐induced eutrophication (including cyanobacterial blooms and hypoxia) of all kinds of water bodies.
