Abstract:Cognitive decline with aging is a concern, particularly in neurodegenerative and mental diseases. Cognitive enhancers focus on cholinergic and monoaminergic systems, but Phosphodiesterases (PDEs) have gained interest in enhancing cognition by increasing intracellular accessibility of additional messengers.
