Phosphate Treatment of Firing Range Soils: Lead Fixation or Phosphorus Release?

Abstract: Phosphate treatment of lead (Pb)-contaminated soils relies on the premise that Pb converts to the thermodynamically stable, insoluble mineral class of pyromorphites.
