Phosphate release of sludges from enhanced biological p-removal during digestion

Abstract: During the start-up phase of an enhanced biological phosphorus removal (EBPR) plant, the amount of eliminated phosphorus during wastewater treatment and the subsequent release during anaerobic sludge digestion was investigated.
