Phonon Structure in the Luminescence of Sm++ Doped KClxBr1–x and KxRb1–x alloys

Abstract: Sm++ ions diluted in alkali halide alloys are employed in order to determine the crystal phonon density of states a t low temperature and to probe the degree of configurational disorder in the matrices.Les proprieths optiques des ions Sma+ dblayks dans les alliages KCl,Brl--z et K,Rbl -,Cl ont permis 1'8tude de la densite des Btats des phonons des ces alliages B basse temperature ; de mbme on a mis en Bvidence le desordre de la configuration caractbristique de ces ma trices.
