Abstract

Contribution/ OriginalityThis study contributes in the existing literature adding a new point of entry in the history of travels, which have been employed by social sciences to construct their epistemological objects.Additionally, if the ancient traveler's chronicles were used as historical sources today, why tourist-based experience is trivialized as liable source of research is an interesting issue which deserves to be discussed.
