Phenylvinylidene RePt Complexes Containing Diphenylphosphine Ligands at the Platinum Atom: Synthesis, IR, NMR Spectroscopic and Electrochemical Properties

Abstract: The μ-phenylvinylidene complexes Cp(CO)2RePt(μ-C=CHPh)(PPh2H)(L) [L = PPh3 (1), P(OPri)3 (2)] were synthesized for the first time. Their IR, NMR spectroscopic and redox properties were studied. Based on IR, NMR spectroscopic data their molecular structures were proposed.
