Abstract: Flavobacterial infection associated with diseased fish is caused by multiple bacterial species within the family Flavobacteriaceae. In the present study, the Chilean isolate FP99, from the gills of a diseased, farmed rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), was characterized using phenotypic and genomic analyses.
