Phenomenology of a little Higgs pseudoaxion

Abstract: In models where the Higgs is realized as a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson (pNGB) of some global symmetry breaking, there are often remaining pNGBs of some Uð1Þ groups (called "pseudoaxions") which could lead to smoking-gun signatures of such scenarios and provide important clues on the electroweak symmetry breaking mechanism. As a concrete example, we investigate the phenomenology of the pseudoaxion in the anomaly-free simplest little Higgs (SLH) model. After clarifying a subtle issue related to the effect of sy… Show more

“…Besides the VLQs, we can also plus a real gauge singlet scalar [22][23][24], a Higgs doublet [25], and even both the singlet-doublet scalars at the same time [25,26]. In these models, other decay channels can exist [27,28].…”

“…For example, we can also introduce a real gauge singlet scalar [14,15], a Higgs doublet [16], and even both the singlet-doublet scalars at the same time [16,17]. In these models, the T quark can exist other decay channels [18,19]. Here, we will adopt a general framework [20].…”

“…Results in pp collisions are also crucial for studying perturbative and non-perturbative quantum chromodynamics (QCD) aspects in vacuum [1]. Notably, pp collisions allow constraining theoretical models describing charmonium production, including the non-prompt contribution, originating from beauty hadron decays [1][2][3]. In addition, measurements of multiplicity-dependent quarkonium production shed light on multiple parton-parton interactions (MPI).…”

“…the Little Higgs Models [30,31], etc. In experiment, many searches for heavy neutral Higgs have been carried out in τ + τ − [32,33], t t, b b, µ + µ − , ZZ, W W , hh, hV channels, which are reviewed in [34,35].…”
