A field experiment was conducted during Rabi season of 2020-2021 at Central Experiment Station, Wakawali, to study the response of mustard varieties to different sowing windows in Konkan region. The experiment was laid out in Split Plot Design. The main plot treatment consists of three sowing windows viz., S1: 46 th MW (12 th -18 th November), S2: 48 th MW (26 th November -2 nd December) and S3: 50 th MW (10 th -16 th December) with four varieties as sub plot treatments viz., V1: Kranti, V2: Pusa Jaikisan, V3: NRC-HB-101 and V4: TAM-108-1 replicated thrice which forms 36 treatment combinations. The sowing window, 46 th meteorological week recorded significantly highest growth, seed yield and quality attributes resulting in higher seed (856.39 kg ha -1 ) and stover yield (3256.21 kg ha -1 ) followed by 48 th and 50 th meteorological week. Among varieties 'Pusa Jaikisan' showed significantly higher growth, yield and quality attributes resulting in higher seed (835.66 kgha -1 ) and stover yield (3017.34 kg ha -1 ) followed by 'NRC-HB-101', 'Kranti' and 'TAM-108-1'. Thus, from the investigation it was concluded that, during rabi season mustard crop sown in 46 th meteorological week along with variety 'Pusa Jaikisan' or 'NRC-HB-101' recorded the highest growth, seed yield and quality.
