Abstract:Two years field and greenhouse studies were carried out to evaluate the efficacy of sub-lethal doses of glyphosate (Round up R ), ammonia gas, phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid against Phelipanche aegyptiaca in potato. Results showed that sequential application of sub-lethal doses of glyphosate at all tested rates significantly reduced P. aegyptiaca shoot number and shoot dry weight.
