Phase states of Na/W/Mn/SiO2 composites at temperatures of catalytic oxidative coupling of methane

Abstract

This paper analyzes phase states in the Na 2 O-WO 3 -MnO-Mn 2 O 3 and Na 2 O-WO 3 -Mn 2 O 3 -SiO 2 systems at temperatures of oxidative coupling of methane (OCM). The results indicate that, in the case of effective OCM, Na/W/Mn/SiO 2 composite catalysts are in melt-Mn 2 O 3 -tridymite (cristobalite) equi librium.
