Phase Equilibria in Natural Gas Systems: Data for Two Helium-Bearing Natural Gases

Abstract: A windowed phase equilibrium apparatus was used to obtain equilibrium vapor and liquid-phase samples of two helium-bearing natural gases at experimental conditions ranging from approximately -50 0 to -275 0 F at pressures from 100 to 500 psia. Helium contents of the gases studied are 2.3 and 0.75 per cent. The equilibrium samples were analyzed by means of a mass spectrometer and special helium-analysis apparatus.
