Phase diagrams and magnetization behaviors of transverse random crystal field Ising model

Abstract: Within the framework of the effective field theory (EFT) and cutting approximation, the spin-1 transverse random crystal field Ising model is investigated for a square lattice. We discuss in detail the influence of transverse random crystal field concentration and crystal field ratio on the phase diagram and magnetization behavior. We give phase diagrams in T-Dx space and magnetization curves in m-T space. Under crystal field dilution condition, there exists the peak value of critical temperature in the direct… Show more

“…A few examples of this kind are that the random-crystal field spin-1 Blume-Capel model was investigated by the lowest approximation of the cluster-variation method which is identical to the mean-field approximation [15] and in terms of recursion relations on the Bethe lattice [16] and the spin-1 transverse crystal field effects were considered in the EFT and cutting approximation for the spin-1 case. [17] The literature is quite vast for spin-1 models but the spin-3/2 case has not been considered as much.…”
