As XRD investigation confirmed the absence of clay at 900 o C. The observed bands in this region are attributed to Fe-O bands vibration. Vibrations at 1398 cm -1 and 1040 cm -1 indicate appearance of SiO 2 [40,41], while band at 850 cm -1 is attributed to Al-Mg-OH band vibration [39].
