Pharmacotherapy to reduce arrhythmic mortality

Abstract: Fatal ventricular arrhythmias and heart failure are the common modes of death in patients with cardiovascular diseases. Intracardiac defibrillator (ICD) implantation reduces arrhythmic mortality to a significant extent in the high risk patient.
