Pharmacotherapeutic values of berberine: A Chinese herbal medicine for the human cancer management

Abstract: Berberine (BBR), a traditional Chinese phytomedicine extracted from various parts of Berberis plants, is an isoquinoline alkaloid used for centuries to treat diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, hypertension, and so forth.
