“…We also investigated the effect of the combined administration of GSE at 50 mg/kg and Vit C at 50 mg/kg during LPS-induced endotoxemia. Vit C is a potent antioxidant agent; it scavenges free radicals, superoxide, hydrogen peroxide, peroxyl, and singlet oxygen species [22] and has anti-inflammatory effect [24].
