Pharmacogenomics of hypertension in chronic kidney disease: the CKD-PGX study

Abstract: Background: Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) often have uncontrolled hypertension despite polypharmacy. Pharmacogenomic drug-gene interactions (DGIs) may impact the metabolism or efficacy of antihypertensive agents.
