Abstract: Endophytic bacteria is promised solution to suppress basal stem rot disease caused by fungus Ganoderma boninense. The antifungal activities of selected isolate endophytic bacteria from oil palm plantation in South Kalimantan was studied. Bacillus cereus was tested for its antifungal activities of crude chitinase and secondary metabolites against the growth of Ganoderma boninense mycelium with dual cultured method.
