Pervasive environmental chemicals impair oligodendrocyte development

Abstract: Exposure to environmental chemicals can impair neurodevelopment. Oligodendrocytes that wrap around axons to boost neurotransmission may be particularly vulnerable to chemical toxicity as they develop throughout fetal development and into adulthood.
