Abstract

She obtained a Ph.D. in Marine Zoology from the same university in 2008. Dr. Saher has eighty journal articles and six book chapters to her credit. She is also the author/coauthor of about 400 various nuclear and mitochondrial papers including novel genes of marine species. She has executed seven academic and research projects as a principal investigator and three projects as a research officer. She has supervised nine Ph.D. and four MPhil scholars to date. Dr. Saher received the 2023 Dr. Nasima M. Tirmizi Gold Medal from the Pakistan Zoological Society.
